Abstain Stand aside on a proposal: answered, not endorsing. abstain
Audit The check before review opens: duplicates, crossed constraints, delivered work undone. Its findings are flags, not verdicts. audit

Canonical model The single source of truth for what the product is. Its picture is the model map. model
Capability Something the product can do, from the user’s side. Lives under one direction. capability node
Commitment A promise to deliver, pinned to the agreed revision. Not started → in delivery → verified. commitment

Constraint A boundary the product must respect. Constrains other items. constraint node
Contradicts A link recording two items in unresolved tension. contradicts edge
Delivered An item whose commitment was verified. delivered
Direction A strategic intent: where the product is going. direction node
Draft A proposal not yet sent for review; private to its author. draft
Item One part of the model: a direction, capability or constraint. node
Ledger The project’s append-only history. Each transition is a ledger entry. ledger event
Link A typed relation between two items. edge
Lives under A capability and its direction. directionId
Material edit A revision that clears every answer, so the team decides again. isMaterialEdit
Model credits The team’s monthly allowance for model work. credits
Objection A reasoned block naming a risk and the revision that would resolve it. objection
Proposal A suggested change to the model. Draft → in review → accepted or rejected. proposal

Replaces / replaced A newer item, or commitment, taking another’s place. supersedes / superseded
Revision A numbered, immutable version of a proposal in review. revision
Signal What raised a proposal: an idea, meeting notes, a pain point, something observed, or a requirement. signal
