Claude (chat and desktop)

This setup is for leads, PMs and anyone who works in a chat rather than a code editor.

1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.

2. Name it unbranch and paste the address:

   https://api.unbranch.ai/mcp

3. Choose Connect. Your browser opens unbranch: sign in if you are not already, check the account and the client, and choose Continue.

4. Start a new chat with the unbranch connector turned on, and ask:

   Where does my product stand in unbranch?

What to expect

The agent talks an idea through with you before it writes anything. When it has drafted something, it shows you the draft with a link to it in the portal. It sends the draft to your team only when you tell it to.

To import a product into an empty project, attach the documents that describe it and ask the agent to import the product. It shows you an outline before it writes the baseline. You then send the baseline for review from the portal. See Import your product.
